Court Approves $15 Million Settlement for Purchasers of Adderall XR

At a hearing on Wednesday November 9th, a Florida federal judge approved a nearly $15 million settlement Wednesday ending a consumer class action against Shire. The suit alleged that Shire paid rival drugmakers to delay selling cheaper versions of its attention deficit drug Adderall, thus causing consumers to pay more for the branded medication from 2007-2009.
