Allan Kanner will be the keynote speaker at the University of Oregon School of Law’s Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation Fall Symposium, titled “American Fire: Trends in Wildfire Law, Science, and Policy on Public and Private Lands” on September 29, 2017. He will be presenting his and Caitrin Reilly’s forthcoming article proposing a possible comprehensive federal statute governing wildfire damages. The article, “Like a Phoenix Rising from the Ashes: Melding Wildfire Law into a Comprehensive Statute,” will be published in the Spring 2018 Edition of the Journal.
