Melesa has experience working within numerous federal district courts and U.S. circuit courts of appeal as well as several state courts including New Jersey, Texas, New Mexico, and Maryland. Melesa’s experience also extends to working within the administrative proceedings before the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and subsequent appeals opposing the licensing of facilities to consolidate storage of high-level nuclear waste in New Mexico and Texas.
Melesa earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Bluefield State University in 1996 with a major in Social Science, and her Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Tulane University School of Professional Advancement in 2016.
In her free time, Melesa enjoys reading, crosswords and spending time with her husband and dogs.
