On July 31, Allan Kanner shared up-to-date information on business interruption coverage and related issues. He joined John Houghtaling, Richard Lewis and Charles Miller to discuss case selection, caseload, and case strategy for insurance coverage claims.
They also shared tips of how to respond to insurer’s requests for information and shared strategies for effective case presentations. They also addressed settling cases and special considerations to keep in mind. Lastly, they concluded the program by reviewing current developments in federal and state legislation and coronavirus business income litigation and described the keys to developing a bad faith cause of action on issues related to COVID-19.
