Shruti Gautam
Shruti Gautam joined Kanner & Whiteley as a paralegal in 2025. While in college, in her senior thesis, Shruti investigated environmental history and property law in Jim Crow New Orleans and won the highest prize given to theses in the college. At Kanner & Whiteley, Shruti continues her interest and research in historical and legal questions about the environment, assisting as a paralegal.
Shruti works on developing prospective cases, articles on environmental legal issues, and ongoing environmental and product liability cases.
Shruti graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College in 2025, with a major in History and a minor in Neuroscience. She was awarded magna cum laude with highest honors and inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
In her free time, Shruti enjoys long drives, building up her music collection, and reading at new cafes.
