Litigation Paralegal (Updated 9/16/2026)
Kanner & Whiteley, a boutique law firm specializing in environmental and complex litigation, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support our attorneys in a fast-paced practice. Responsibilities include:
- assisting attorneys with case preparation, discovery, and document management
- drafting correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents under attorney supervision
- organizing case files, both physical and electronic; coordinating deadlines
- communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- trial preparation, including exhibit and witness organization
A Paralegal certificate or degree is preferred but not required. We are looking for applicants with strong writing, research, and organizational skills. Applicants should be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software. They should be able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills and professionalism. Law Office Support Staff (Updated 9/16/2026)
Kanner & Whiteley, a boutique law firm specializing in environmental and complex litigation, is seeking a detail-oriented Support Staff member to join our team full or part-time; temporary or temp to permanent. Responsibilities include:
- assisting attorneys and paralegals with typing, filing, file organization, and case preparation
- preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal correspondence and documents
- answering and routing phone calls professionally
- maintaining both physical and electronic filing systems
- supporting general office operations
We are looking for applicants with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Applicants should be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook. They should be comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prior law office or administrative experience is preferred but not required. Applicants should have professional phone and communication skills, and they should be willing to learn and grow into expanded responsibilities.
