On April 10, 2026, the New Jersey Superior Court in Bergen County approved NJDEP’s settlement with Honeywell International, in which Honeywell agreed to pay NJDEP $16.5M to resolve its liability for alleged injuries to natural resources at the Quanta Resources Superfund Site. The settlement does not resolve, and specifically excludes, NJDEP’s Hudson River Claims, as defined by the Consent Judgment, as well as claims for past and future cleanup and removal costs.
